Admission requiriments and procedure

If you decided to join our academy.

To begin the admission process a student should send by fax (812) 543-54-32 or by 
E-mail: spbgma_fiu@front.ru the following documents:

For Under graduate course:
1. Application form for Admission (attached)
2. Questionnaire (attached)
3. High School Certificate (for 1st course) supplied with official translation of the document into Russian and affirmed in the Embassy (Consulate) of Russian Federation.
4. Copy of the passport
5. Students who are transferred from Russian or foreign Medical Schools must submit documents from previous Medical School and Zachot Book (Credit book) copy, verified by Medical School.
6. Health Certificate.

For Post graduate course:
Students must send the following documents to Academy.
a) Copy of Higher medical education (MBBS, MD and equal credentials)
b) Full Registration certificate from Medical Council of the resident country.
c) Biodata (CV), including present day position, working experience
d) Filled up application form with photograph of candidate
e) Photo copy passport.

1. On the receiving of these documents, it will be forwarded to the admission committee of the relevant department. In case of acceptance the Application, a student invitation letter for the candidate will be processed within 20 working days and will be send to you. Once you receive the invitation you are free to apply for the student entrance visa at the relevant Embassy or Consulate of Russian Federation.

2. Candidate plans his/her visit to St. Petersburg and informs us. Please note that the Immigration authorities in Russian Airports require that a representative from the inviting Educational establishment meets students from certain countries (Asian, African, and other countries). Therefore please notify us at least 7 days in advance before leaving to St. Petersburg so that we can arrange a representative to meet you at passport control service of Russian airport of arrival.

3. Candidate should bring the following to St. Petersburg:
  I. 20 photographs passport size
  II. Original and certified copies of the above mentioned documents. Please note that all education certificates have to be      officially translated in Russian language, verified and notarized in the Russian Embassy or Consulate in two copies.
      a) High School Certificate (For UG)
      b) Higher medical education certificates (MBBS, MD and equal credentials) (For PG)
      c) Full Registration certificate from Medical Council of the resident country.(For PG)
      d) Curriculum Vitae (CV), including present day position and working experience (For PG)
      e) Health Certificate
  III. Money to cover your personal expenses and educational fees.

4. After arrival Candidate will be introduced with the Dean and Vice-Rector by International Affaire submitting the original documents. Students will go for passport registration, accommodation setup and medical checkup in students OPD department.
Candidate must pass all the tests organized by the Departments and Dean of the Faculty for the Foreign students.
